How to buy bulk SMS
You would need to create a sender ID. It helps the receiver identify who is sending the message so that it doesn't count as spam or scam text.
- Click Log in to your SMS account or create an account if you do not already have an account with us.
- Proceed to open your ‘Dashboard’ and and select ‘Sender ID’. It may take about 3-5 working days to create a Sender ID. This is because the Nigerian communication commission (NCC) and mobile telecommunication networks require an extensive KYC (Know your customer) on all sender IDs registered.
- Select ‘SMS’ on your dashboard and then on ‘Send SMS’ to send an SMS once your sender ID is registered.
- Fill in the details (Sender ID, Recipients, Message, Type, DND management).
- You can either choose to upload your recipients or enter their phone numbers.
- Proceed to compose your message and click on ‘Send SMS’.
Before sending an SMS you would need to fund your wallet on your SMS account. There are currently 2 available methods of funding your wallet.
Method 1 - Funding Your Wallet with Debit Card
- Enter the amount you want to add to your wallet in the box under ‘Amount’ on the ‘Fund Wallet page’, under the ‘Fund Wallet with Debit Card’ icon, (note that the value of the amount entered should be in Naira).
- Click on ‘Continue’.
- Click Proceed to ‘FLUTTERWAVE’ to complete this transaction.
- On the next page (FLUTTERWAVE checkout page) you would be required to input your debit card number, its expiry date, and CVV.
- If you wish to save the card details for future transactions, tick the “Remember this card next time” box. If you do not wish to do so, leave it unchecked.
- Click ‘PAY’.
- After that, you would need to input the ‘OTP code’ that would be sent to you at that transaction instant to authorize your payment.
- Once done, your payment is indicated as successful and your wallet is funded.
Method 2 - Funding Your Wallet by Bank Deposit/Transfer
- Go to the ‘Fund Wallet Page’. There, you will find the SmartSMSSolutions bank account information; Bank, Account Name, and Account Number.
- Proceed to your ‘Bank Mobile App’ to make a transfer to the bank account.
- You may also choose to do a direct bank deposit to the bank account provided.
- Use your ‘email address’ or ‘purchase ID’ added as narration or depositor’s name. Once payment is received, your account will be funded automatically.
